Amazon News Roundup from December 2014
Here are some interesting news items about Amazon in December 2014 along with my comments.
Amazon starts its own line of diapers and baby wipes.
This shouldn’t surprise anyone. Amazon takes the best selling items and just private labels them. Can’t blame them for doing that. By the way, this does not mean money can’t be made doing the same thing for the same product.

Amazon erroneously sends a customer $5,000 in returns, while another gets a conveyer-belt roller.
With all Amazon had going on during the holiday season, it’s surprising they do as well as they do. But they’re not perfect!

Amazon shoppers will now be able to haggle with sellers as part of its “Make An Offer” program.
This is only in very limited situations. Nothing to really pay attention to unless it really takes off. Unlikely IMO.

Amazon says that Google Chromebooks made up the top three best-selling computers over Christmas.
This should concern Apple, IMO. Google Chromebooks are far from mainstream, but they are gaining popularity. It does not surprise me. I love mine!
