Amazon Marketing Tools and Software

July 7th, 2014

For the past few months, I’ve been focused on Amazon Marketing.  It’s been fascinating and I’ve learned a lot.  You can read my review of Amazing Selling Machine, which is where I began my learning.  But here’s a list of other resources, tools, and software that can help you with Marketing on Amazon.

Product Spotlight – http://profitspotlight.com/sign-up/

This shows which products have the highest Best Seller Rank (BSR) currently in Amazon.  It is from the makers of Amazing Selling Machine, namely Amazing Academy.  NOTE:  BSR is created by Amazon and shows exactly which products are selling the most by category.  By the way, there is another software that does the same thing only better which is not public.

AMA Suite – http://www.amasuitesoftware.com/

This is a set of software tools originally created for Amazon affiliates.  It is downloadable software that has some advantages to those of us that are private labeling also.

Camel Camel Camel – http://camelcamelcamel.com/

Strange name, I know.  But it can price watch your competitors to see what price points they have tested over time.  At least that’s what I’m using it for.

FBA Toolkit – http://www.fbatoolkit.com/

A set of tools that will track not only the price, but the stock levels of a competitor.  They also have on thier front page what they estimate as the volume of sales of products by category.  It is infamously inflated, according to the private memberships I’m connected with.  Yet, the data is still valuable.

Merchant Words – https://www.merchantwords.com/

This tool attempts to estimate how many times specific keyword phrases are typed into Amazon.  That is incredibly useful and powerful information that Amazon does not offer.  They are definitely not exact, as they use various means to simply estimate.  I hear that they use toolbar data, Google keyword data and other pieces of information to make a rough guess.

SearchRank – http://searchrank.sellerlabs.com/

This software monitors the position of your Amazon products for specific keyword phrases and some other valuable metrics.  I have not tried this but want to.  Hey SellerLabs, contact me, Wink, wink.  {I’d love to do an honest review if I could get access.}

Danger Coders – {Coming soon}

Lastly, Steven Watanabe is a nice young man I met at a conference last week.  He’s making some software that he plans to release soon.  Look him up online and you can probably get an advance look at it.  I am going to check it out soon and will let you know what I think.  (Thanks Steven.)

What else?

Do you know of any other Amazon Marketing tools or software?  Leave a comment.

If you are working on some some software and want my input as an active “ASMer”, let me know.  I’ll check it out and blog about it, time permitting.
