Microsoft AdCenter is Getting Better

February 22nd, 2007 View Comments

Microsoft announced on their blog that they are making several changes to the current Microsoft adCenter beta. This is good news for those of us that work with PPC quite a bit.

For example, we can now import campaigns from Google AdWords. It will be interesting to see how well that works.

It was also nice to see that they are following the example of Yahoo in naming Campaigns and Ad Groups the same as Google. This is good news. It makes it easier to understand and to teach. From now on, accounts are made of campaigns, which are made of ad groups, which are made of keywords and ads. This should be the same when doing PPC for Google, Yahoo, and MSN.

If you work with paid listings on Microsoft, or plan to, be sure to watch their new webinar on the subject at http://msftadcenter.com/webinar/beta/betawebinar.pps.
