Lively Internet Marketing Class

Last night was probably one of our best ever SCORE Internet Marketing classes. Don Sinclair gave some excellent information on the benefits of an email newsletter. He even took them through how to create one using an online service.
There were over 25 students present and they came from all different small businesses including…

- Modular Homes salesperson
- Management consultant
- WHKP Radio Station
- Chiropractor
- Acupuncturist
- Medical and psychiatry private practice
- Concierge
- Data Communications equipment salesperson
- British sports car restoration / sales and service of Triumph car parts
- Affordable bedding online sales
- Massage body works
And that’s just a partial list!!
My part consisted of the basics of how to market a website using the search engines. We discussed the basics of PPC and SEO. It was a lot of fun and several spent time after talking about their business and what they are trying to do.

I was impressed with the seminar on Internet Marketing — especially with your presentation.
My brother (Art) and I learned a great deal. He plans to use some of the tips to improve the station’s web site — and to (hopefully) create a Blog.
