Good question. I stressed above that we do not need a programmer. Yet, we don't just want them to create a design. We need them to be able to implement it on the Magento platform as well. We may also want some odds and end design elements created at times and we'd like them implemented as well. I hope that helps. It's a little more than "just a designer". That being said, we would be willing to work with someone that has minimal experience with Magento itself, but has the ability to learn it.
