Google Starts Selling on the Radio

December 8th, 2006

Want to advertise on the radio?  Believe it or not, Google is starting to sell audio ads, similar to the way they sell Pay Per Click ads on their search engine (and other search engines).

As you may know already, Google has already tried selling classified ads on newspapers.

  • Will there come a day when anyone can start an account in Google and build and create search engine ads, radio ads, newspaper ads, and even television ads all in one account?
  • Will you be able to target by geographic, demographic, time of day, etc?

Probably.  At least if Google gets what it wants.

If you want to learn more about Google on the Radio, here’s a Link to the Google Opens Audio Ads Beta on ClickZ.
