Who uses Twitter in Charlotte, North Carolina?

I’ve been following anyone I can find in the region and am trying to gather a “Top 100” list.

  • This is a great list. Would love to be added, also would be a great starting point to get the first major Charlotte Tweet Up. I know there are a lot of small ones but a large one would be a lot of fun.

  • Haha. Yes. Take a good look at the date. It was created in August of 2008 initially. One year in Twitter time is like 5 or 6 generations. Many on the list are old. Perhaps I'll do a new one in August.

    What's the criteria to make the "Top 100" list, and what is the criteria for being markes as a "Noteworthy Twitterer"?

    How would you define "very active"?

    I think you should grow the list and not limit it to "100". rename it "Notable Twitterers from CLT" or simply CLT Twitterers.

    According to Twellow.com (unreliable) 11% of Charlotte-based Twitter users have 100+ followers, 34% have 10 or less followers.
