25% of all searches on Google are NEW

According to this report by Manoj Jasra, Google reported in their Searchology event yesterday that 25% of all searches every day are NEW.
Very interesting. That’s an amazing fact. One can’t help but wonder what types of strange things people type into search engines. Then again, if you look at your web logs, you’ll find some pretty strange stuff out there.
